I'm Eleni, a maternity, newborn and family photographer based in Southampton, Hampshire. Originally from Greece, I’ve made the South Coast my home.
With over ten years of photography experience, I’ve developed a style that is natural, timeless and relaxed. I love working with soft light, genuine connections and the little details that make every family unique.
Whether we’re photographing the anticipation of motherhood, the early days with your newborn or the beautiful chaos of family life, my aim is to create honest, meaningful images that feel like you.
As a mother myself, I understand how quickly these chapters pass and how much the smallest moments can mean.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me spending time with my son, exploring the outdoors or enjoying the simple things in life.
I’d love to tell your story.
Eleni
Photography has been part of my life for many years. Long before it became a profession, it was my creative escape, a way to express myself, find comfort during difficult times and hold on to something I was passionate about.
My journey to motherhood wasn’t straightforward. I experienced miscarriages, grief and the quiet pressure of being asked when I was going to have children, while privately struggling with the very thing people were asking about.
I choose to speak openly about this now because I’ve come to realise how many women go through similar experiences, often in silence. I wish we spoke about pregnancy loss more freely, with greater understanding and compassion.
Through those difficult years, photography gave me something positive to focus on. It helped me move forward when emotionally, I sometimes struggled to do so.
And then my son was born.
My relationship with photography changed. I found myself wanting to document everything, the smallest details, the everyday moments, the little changes that happen almost without us noticing.
After everything I’d been through, photographing my son became a way of appreciating what I had, while holding on to the moments I knew wouldn’t last forever.
That experience naturally drew me towards maternity, newborn and family photography.
Today, I bring more than ten years of photographic experience, but also a very personal understanding of how meaningful these chapters of life can be.
My approach remains simple: honest, natural photographs that capture real connections and the beauty of everyday life.
Photography once helped me move forward. Today, it helps me hold on to the moments that matter.
